This year’s NFL draft won’t have any can’t-miss quarterback prospects, but there are two intriguing signal-callers who will be available in Cam Ward of the University of Miami and Shedeur Sanders from the University of Colorado Boulder.
As the College Football Playoff semifinal game takes place between Pennsylvania State University and the University of Notre Dame on Thursday, Pennsylvania State University quarterback Drew Allar has announced that he will return to school for another season.
But as Field Yates noted, Allar still has some time to change his mind and enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
Plenty of 2025 NFL Draft prospects will be on the field for Penn State-Notre Dame tonight.
And while Penn State QB Drew Allar has announced his intention to return to school, he still has a window to change his mind and declare if he desires.
In a shallow QB class with a top 10…

Allar, a native of Ohio, is in his junior season of college and his second year as the Nittany Lions’ starting quarterback.
Coming into Thursday, he had thrown for 3,192 yards and 24 touchdowns while adding six touchdowns on the ground through 15 games this season.
At 6-foot-5 and over 240 pounds, he is an impressive physical specimen who has tremendous arm strength and passing potential, but he has some things to refine, and he isn’t overly quick.
If Allar is to enter the draft, he would likely be the third-best QB prospect behind Ward and Sanders and likely be taken in the first round.
As usual, there are a number of teams with relatively high draft picks that won’t get to take Ward or Sanders, and they’re probably pining for the opportunity to go with Allar in April.
A strong showing in the College Football Playoff, not to mention a national championship, would undoubtedly improve his draft profile were he to make himself eligible for this year.
