The 2024 FCS football season is a marathon, not a sprint, but as we preview each of the 13 conferences, we’re fast-forwarding a bit with predictions of how the standings may look a few months down the line. From the top teams to the best players to the key games, here’s an index of all the FCS football conference previews.
A banner 2024 season is expected across FCS college football – the 47th since the Division I subdivision originated in 1978.
There are 129 programs – the second-most in history – and all of the others are chasing South Dakota State, the two-time defending national champion and No. 1-ranked entering the new campaign.
All 13 FCS conferences figure to have competitive title races – not even SDSU has it easy – so we’re peering into the crystal ball with league previews.
Rest assured, the results tend to be wild and wacky each week.
