Ayla McDowell, a 6-foot-2, 5-star from prospect from Cypress, TX. has yet to take an official or unofficial visit this year. But, McDowell has taken unofficials to Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, Houston, Baylor and LSU in the past. Now, she is telling 247Sports that she’s ready to start kicking things into gear.

“My recruitment is going great,” she said. “It’s going by really fast. Time is ticking, but I’m getting close to a point where I have to start making decisions. I’m going to take my visits during the fall after AAU, then I’m going to try to commit during the signing period in October/November.”
