“The school felt like home more than any of the other schools recruiting me,” Clark said on his commitment. “The coaches, players, the alum and the campus are things that I want to be a part of.”
After spending time in Missouri playing for Link Academy, the idea of being close to home helped sway his decision. Also, the thought of playing for a program that has a plan for his development helped him choose Texas.
“Me being from Texas and having my family at all my games is important to me,” Clark explained. “I also liked the layout for me and how the staff told me if I was going to play a lot of minutes. They’ve gotten players to the next level from my position and their skill development is great.”
With Clark on board, the Longhorns staff will now have their sights set on landing top 25 prospects Nate Ament, Mikel Brown, Shelton Henderson, Kingston Flemings and Koa Peat.
