The logjam towards the bottom of the SEC should sort itself out to an extent this weekend when Florida and Kentucky meet with an opportunity to inch closer to bowl eligibility. Those teams represent the high-variance nature of this tier, where the .500 mark feels like a likely spot for most to land come season’s end. There is a chance, though, that the surprisingly successful starts at Duke and Georgia Tech, for example, could continue in the second half and lead to breakout campaigns.
