The Chicago Bears, like several other NFL teams, are in search of a new head coach.
The team wasn’t happy with the way Matt Eberflus ran the ship, and after three years, it was time for him to go.
Caleb Williams is expected to be the future of the franchise at the quarterback position, and the team has made it clear that they’d like their next head coach to help him grow and develop.
With that in mind, analyst Chris Bleck recently talked about his favorite pick for the Bears’ next signal-caller via ESPN Chicago’s X page.
“Vrabel is my No. 1 choice for the Bears for their head coaching position. I would put Ben Johnson No. 2 and Brian Flores No. 3,” Bleck said.

One of the biggest selling points, at least for Bleck, is that Vrabel is a “no-nonsense guy.”
Vrabel learned a lot of what he knows from Bill Belichick, who was known as stern, yet fair during his tenure with the New England Patriots.
If Vrabel gets the Bears job, he could help turn the team’s culture around and hopefully bring them out of the pit that they fell into during the 2024 season.
Williams had some ups and downs throughout his rookie season, but when looking at the ups, and the high moments from the year, there were several aspects of his game that fans could get excited about.
A new coach might be able to help him hone his skills and be more confident in himself, and considering that Vrabel worked with Tom Brady, he could be the perfect person to help Williams get back on track.
