Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg posted some important — but expected — news with regard to Bayern Munich star goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
A new one-year contract will get done, “soon”:
⏳ @Manuel_Neuer has confirmed our exclusive news from December as he will extend his contract until 2026!
When asked about the timing, he told SPORT1: “Soon.”
As expected, Neuer is going to get a one-year deal where he will (maybe) begin a process to pass the torch to the goalkeeper position — and the captain’s armband as well. A club legend, Neuer is signing up for (maybe) one last ride.
