Frankie Kazarian joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary as Leon Slater battles Trent Seven in tonight’s opening contest! Kazarian and Slater will face off this Sunday on Countdown to Genesis. The bell rings and Slater puts his quickness on display. Seven gains control with a Snap Dragon suplex on the floor. Slater just makes it back into the ring before the referee’s 10 count. Seven hits the Seven Star Lariat, followed by a twisting Piledriver for two. Seven nails the Birminghammer but it’s still not enough. Slater bounces back with a DDT on the ramp. Slater launches himself off the ramp, crashing into Seven on the floor. Slater puts him away with the Swanton 450 to win.

After the match, Slater thwarts a blindside attack attempt from Kazarian.
Joe Hendry is determined to become the new TNA World Champion when he challenges Nic Nemeth this Sunday at Genesis.
The Personal Concierge welcomes us to the Pre-Launch Celebration By Elegance with Ash and Heather. This comes before their Knockouts World Tag Team Title opportunity against Spitfire this Sunday at Genesis. The Personal Concierge reveals what Ash and Heather will look like with the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles around their waists. Ash and Heather deliver a speech as if they’ve already won the titles, which remains to be seen. The reigning champions, Dani Luna and Jody Threat, interrupt the Celebration. The two teams face off, with Spitfire standing tall!
Gia Miller interviews PCO and Sami Callihan, as they prepare to battle The Hardys in a match where if they win, they will be added to the TNA World Tag Team Title bout at Genesis.
Before Eric Young and Steve Maclin seek revenge on The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers this Sunday at Genesis, they look to teach Fir$t Cla$$ a lesson in respect! Francis hits Maclin with Tennessee Whisky in the corner. KC Navarro confronts actor Judd Lormand and his children at ringside. Lormand pushes him down, leading to Francis putting his hands on Lormand. Security separates the two before the situation escalates any further. Back in the ring, Maclin turns the tide with an Olympic Slam to Francis. Young bites Navarro, then drops him with a top rope elbow drop to win.

Before they collide in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match for the Knockouts World Title this Sunday at Genesis, Masha Slamovich and Rosemary step into the confessional.
Last Saturday at a Prestige Wrestling event, Judas Icarus and Travis Williams of The Northern Armory beat down Mike Santana.
Josh Alexander, Judas Icarus and Travis Williams are in the ring. Alexander says that after the beatdown Mike Santana sustained at the hands of The Northern Armory last week, he will not be cleared to compete at Genesis. Much to Alexander’s dismay, Santana proves him wrong as he appears in the crowd. Santana isn’t backing down and announces that at Genesis, his match against Alexander will now be an I Quit match!
The action continues as Laredo Kid clashes with Jake Something! The early advantage to Something, asserting his power advantage. Kid creates separation, planting him with a DDT for two. Laredo heads to the top rope but Something halts his momentum with a forearm blast. Something hits a thunderous top-rope powerbomb to win.

Ace Austin looks to become a 4-time X-Division Champion when he challenges Moose this Sunday at Genesis!
PCO and Sami Callihan take on the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys. If PCO and Callihan win, they will be added to the TNA World Tag Team Title match involving The Hardys and the Rascalz at Genesis! Before the match begins, PCO and Callihan are once again taunted by the mysterious number 23. The Rascalz are seen watching on from backstage. Callihan and PCO cut off the ring as they begin to wear Matt down. Moments later, Matt creates some much-needed separation with a double DDT to PCO and Callihan. Matt tags in Jeff as the pace begins to quicken. Jeff soars with Whisper in the Wind to PCO. Matt takes out Callihan with the Twist of Fate. Jeff puts Callihan away with the Swanton Bomb for three.

Jordynne Grace learns that Tessa Blanchard has not signed the contract for their scheduled grudge match this Sunday at Genesis. Grace leaves the contract at the announcer’s table for Blanchard to sign.
TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth and #1 Contender Joe Hendry go face to face before their TNA World Title showdown this Sunday at Genesis. Hendry claims that Genesis is a new era and it all starts with him holding the TNA World Championship. Nic has doubts about whether or not Hendry is ready to become a World Champion. Nic shows a clip from Bound For Glory that proves he had nothing to do with John Layfield’s involvement in their first meeting. Ryan Nemeth interrupts and tries to convince his brother Nic that Hendry is not his friend. Tensions quickly escalate between Hendry and Ryan. Hendry picks Ryan up for the Standing Ovation but Nic takes him out with a superkick! Conflicted by his actions, Nic exits the ring.
Meanwhile, Tessa Blanchard appears at ringside and signs the contract for her match against Jordynne Grace at Genesis. Out of nowhere, she’s attacked by a vengeful Jordynne Grace and the brawl is on! Grace plants Blanchard with the Grace Driver as iMPACT! goes off the air.
