VfB Stuttgart continued their fine run of form, beating Freiburg 4-0 on Saturday to make it three wins from three in 2025.
Nick Woltemade, who made it 3-0 from the penalty spot, was delighted with the performance.
“It was a spectacle. We were incredibly good, especially in the first half. After that we were solid and saw the result over the line. We produced a very good performance and left no doubt as to who wanted to win the game,” said Woltemade in a post-match interview.
“Obviously I’m pleased with my goal and with the way things are going right now. We can be very happy as a team after winning all three games this week. We’re enjoying the moment and want to continue playing this way,” continued the striker.
The win lifted Stuttgart to fourth place in the Bundesliga table.
