We’ve looked at the Top 40 teams in NBA history based on All-Star and All-NBA selections and found that only 14 of them went on to win the Larry O’Brien trophy; out of the Top 10 star-studded squads, only the 1962-63 Celtics and the 2012-13 Heat led by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh won the title.
None of Michael Jordan‘s teams made the cut.
