The inaugural 12-team College Football Playoff culminates tonight with a clash of two of the sport’s most historic programs — No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 8 Ohio State. With playmakers on both teams, the game will likely come down to the quarterback matchup of Notre Dame’s Riley Leonard and Ohio State’s Will Howard. Howard has been especially productive during the Buckeyes run to the national title game, combining to throw 919 yards with six touchdowns and two interceptions in three games. Leonard meanwhile has been solid, if less explosive with 514 yards and three touchdowns with three picks.
