Quarterback is not just the most important position in football, but it is arguably the most important position in all of sports.
That is why quarterbacks in the NFL Draft always tend to have plenty of intrigue around them.
While Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are likely to be the first two quarterbacks off the board this year, the debate now centers around which quarterbacks will be picked after them.
ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. recently broke down the possibilities for the third quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“I went with Jaxson Dart. … He’s mobile. He’s tough. He can make the throws. … The two kids I’m thinking about now are Kyle McCord, Syracuse … and then Will Howard based on the way he played at Ohio State and the way he played at Kansas State,” Kiper said, via ESPN Radio.

It will be interesting to see how these stocks rise and fall ahead of the draft in April.
Dart was the First-Team All-SEC selection after throwing for 4,279 yards, 29 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
McCord had a record-setting season at Syracuse after transferring from Ohio State.
He threw for an ACC record 4,779 yards with 34 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
As a transfer, Howard ended up taking Ohio State all the way to the national title, throwing for 4,010 yards and completing 73.0 percent of his passes.
Each of these prospects has plenty of skill and talent, but it will come down to the right situation with the right franchise in the draft.
