The Buffalo Bills’ offensive landscape is getting a major boost as Joe Brady commits to staying with the team amid high-stakes playoff preparations.
Despite attracting serious interest from the New Orleans Saints, Brady has made a strategic decision to remain in Buffalo, continuing his pivotal role in the team’s offensive evolution.
ESPN’s Ian Rapoport broke the news, revealing Brady’s commitment to the Bills just as they prepare for their critical AFC Championship showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Saints, coming off a tough 5-12 season, had been persistent in their pursuit, seeking a second interview with Brady in hopes of hiring him as their head coach.
“#Bills OC Joe Brady, the architect of the Buffalo offense, has elected to remain with the Bills and pull out of the #Saints HC search, per me and @TomPelissero. New Orleans had wanted to interview Brady a second time, along with Kellen Moore. Brady sticks in BUF,” Rapoport shared.

Brady’s journey with the Buffalo Bills has been a rapid ascent.
After initially stepping in as interim offensive coordinator in 2023, his strategies began to take shape in 2024, transforming the team’s offensive approach.
His impact has been nothing short of remarkable, positioning the Bills as serious contenders against the Chiefs.
Meanwhile, the Saints continue their head coaching search, exploring multiple candidates.
They’ve already spoken with Dolphins’ defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver and Giants’ offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.
The Eagles’ offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, and former head coach Mike McCarthy from the Packers and Cowboys are on their radar.
Interim head coach Darren Rizzi is still under consideration.
