The shaping is different
The Callaway Elyte drivers feature a completely redesigned shape. Callaway addressed airflow issues near the hosel and rear section to help increase clubhead speed.
The Elyte has 1.3 mph more clubhead speed and 2.1 mph more ball speed than the Paradym Ai Smoke. Increased distance without sacrificing forgiveness is a positive.
3D printing was used to fine-tune performance
Callaway is known for using AI to elevate their equipment but with the new Elyte models, they also incorporated advanced 3D-printing technology to push performance further.
During development, Callaway created 75 prototypes of the Elyte driver model. That’s a big leap from the typical four or five prototypes they have created in the past.

The Thermoforged Carbon Crown is a new addition
With this Callaway Elyte series we see the introduction of the Thermoforged Carbon Crown. The idea here is a weight savings and lower center of gravity designed to reduce spin and boost speed.
The new Thermoforged Carbon Crown is also a precision-molded material that helps eliminate inconsistencies when compared to traditional manufacturing methods.
10X AI Face Technology with 25,000 control points
The Elyte drivers feature an updated AI-designed face with 25,000 control points. What are control points? Think of the driver face as a grid. Each intersection of the grid is a control point. At each of those control points, Callaway can fine-tune the thickness and response of that area of the face.
The Elyte features 16 times more control points than the previous generation. The goal is to tighten dispersion patterns by ensuring consistent speed and spin across the entire face.
