Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović continued his work to regain his old form and the 20-year-old put in a very good shift during Bayern Munich’s 3-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League.
Relegated to the playoff group, Bayern Munich will now face Celtic or Manchester City in the next round. For Pavlović, it does not matter who it is, Bayern Munich still has to win.
“Of course we had hoped for more and wanted to play better. But sometimes that’s just how football goes. Now we move on – the next game is in three days. Personally it doesn’t matter which team we’ll face next, we have to give it our all and perform to our best,” said Pavlović (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Pavlović figured to be a prominent part of the effort to make it out of the playoff round. Surely, Bayern Munich will need him at his best if the club is to move on to the latter stages of the competition.
