The past few days have been a whirlwind for sports fans and athletes alike.
NBA fans are still reeling from one of the biggest trades in history, with Luka Doncic heading to the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks.
As if this news wasn’t enough, the San Antonio Spurs made a major deal of their own, trading for De’Aaron Fox, and adding one more player into the fold to help Victor Wembanyama take the next step in his career.
Not letting NBA players have all the fun, two notable NFL players are on the trade block during this time, as Myles Garrett would like to leave the Cleveland Browns, and Cooper Kupp announced that the Los Angeles Rams are trying to trade him.
The Doncic-Davis trade came out of nowhere, and Kupp’s announcement seemingly came out of nowhere, at least according to his teammate Puka Nacua.
Nacua acted surprised on X when hearing about Kupp’s announcement, noting that he “thought it was just the NBA trade season.”

Kupp and Nacua have proven to be a great one-two punch on the Rams’ offense when healthy, helping bring them back to the playoffs this year.
However, tensions must be high in the locker room, at least from Kupp’s side, as he is ready to move on to his newest adventure.
There will be a lot of added pressure for Nacua on the Rams’ offense moving forward, assuming Kupp leaves, and the team might need to re-evaluate and re-load at the position over the next few months.
