Bayern Munich star Harry Kane converted two more penalty kicks in the team’s 3-0 win over Werder Bremen.
In all, Kane has 12 penalty conversions this season across all competitions — an astounding figure that might have the rest of the Bundesliga fuming.
Werder Bremen is among that crowd and striker Marvin Ducksch lamented Bayern Munich’s ability to earn or get awarded (depending on your perspective) penalties. Specifically, Ducksch did not feel like Kane deserved a PK for the handball called on Anthony Jung in the first half.
“They wouldn’t have given it to us,” Ducksch said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Yikes.
It was the second PK, however, that was maybe more debatable when Jamal Musiala went down inside the box. The call looked a bit…soft. Regardless, Bayern Munich and Kane capitalized on those referee decisions and sealed a 3-0 win over a competitive Werder Bremen side.
