A lot of people feel Super Bowl LIX between the two-time defending world champion Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will be a tight game that could go down to the wire.
After all, the two teams met in the Super Bowl two years ago and battled down to the final seconds when Harrison Butker’s field goal proved to be the difference in Kansas City’s victory.
This year’s matchup is rated almost dead even, as both teams are excellent defensively and do things differently on offense. The Eagles have prodigious Saquon Barkley at running back and A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith at wide receiver, while the Chiefs have a living legend at quarterback in Patrick Mahomes.
Despite all that well-known talent, FOX Sports host Chris Broussard named an X-factor to watch.
“It feels appropriate that it’s the X-man, Xavier Worthy. … His speed changes games. Not only through the catch, but through the run,” Broussard said on “First Things First.”

Worthy was the No. 28 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft when the Chiefs traded up to take him, after he set a record at the NFL Scouting Combine for the fastest 40-yard dash time.
As Broussard pointed out, Worthy started this season as a speed threat, but as time went on, he became a more well-rounded player.
The University of Texas product started to increase his production in December, and in the AFC Championship Game against the Buffalo Bills, he had six catches for 85 yards and one touchdown.
If the Eagles key too much on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, it could open up the field for Worthy to make one or two receptions that completely change the complexion of the contest.
