Aaron Rodgers is no longer at the NFL mountaintop.
His body’s wear and tear is becoming evident, and Father Time may have finally caught up to him this season.
That’s why he knows Sunday might be the end for him and his NFL career.
When asked about that, the former Super Bowl champion talked about how thankful he was for everything that he’s done and achieved in the league (via New York Jets).
“This game has given me a lot and I’ve given a lot back to it,” he said.

The Jets hoped Rodgers would be the catalyst for their rise to the top, but that clearly wasn’t the case.
While he’s hardly the only one to blame for the team’s debacle, his play did little to alleviate their struggles.
Also, all the reports about his power within the organization or his relationships with Robert Saleh, Woody Johnson, Garrett Wilson, or Nathaniel Hackett often made him look like a villain.
All things considered, if this is, in fact, the end of the line for him, it will forever be slightly disappointing to see that he only won one ring.
Even so, no one can take anything away from him.
Whether they like him as a person or not, no one can disrespect him as one of the greatest quarterbacks and most talented passers this game has ever seen – and will ever see.
Even if he decides to return, the Jets are reportedly set to move on from him.
It’ll be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
