The top defensive lineman in the transfer portal is set to visit at least a few schools in the coming days.
Former Michigan State standout Derrick Harmon, whom 247 ranks as the No. 2 ranked uncommitted defensive player in the portal, is set to visit USC today, sources tell 247Sports.
The current plan is then for the 6-foot-5, 320-pound Harmon to visit Colorado this weekend in advance of a visit to Miami early next week, per sources.
Harmon, who posted 40 tackles for Michigan State last season, has also garnered interest from some other prominent programs as well. He visited schools like Ohio State and Oregon upon entering the portal during the winter cycle before returning to Michigan State. He’s also garnered interest from programs like Florida State this go-around. The Seminoles did an in-home visit with him Wednesday, per sources.
