Thanks to his decades of success with the Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins, Don Shula has won the most games of any head coach in NFL history, at 347.
His record has remained strong since he retired in 1996 after 26 years leading the Dolphins.
For years, many assumed Bill Belichick would be the one to break that record.
Still, he will remain at 333 wins for the foreseeable future after recently accepting the head coaching job at the University of North Carolina.
While Belichick won’t be challenging Shula’s record anytime soon, one analyst pointed out another current coach who is inching closer and closer and could eventually surpass Shula.
Pete Prisco appeared on CBS Sports’ NFL pregame show on Sunday and said, “Andy Reid is making a case to be the greatest coach ever,” and believes he has a real chance of breaking Shula’s record at some point.

Reid is also a spritely 66 years old and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down soon, and why would you when you have Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback and a dominant defense?
When looking at this list, Reid has a real shot at catching Shula.
With the Chiefs regularly producing 12-win seasons, Shula’s record could be beaten if Reid continues.
