Arizona State quarterback transfer Jaden Rashada intends to enter the transfer portal, multiple sources tell 247Sports’ Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz.
Rashada, a former top 50 recruit in the 2023 class, emerged as a true freshman starter for the Sun Devils last season. Injuries limited him to just three games with the California native throwing for 485 yards and four touchdowns against three interceptions in his collegiate debut.
The 6-foot-4, 185-pound product from Pittsburg High School will garner a lot of interest in the portal. Multiple sources have indicated Georgia is a school to watch. The Bulldogs have tried adding more depth to their QB room for much of the offseason, and going to Athens would provide Rashada a runway to sit and learn for a year behind established starter Carson Beck. If Rashada were to end up at Georgia, it’d be a situation very akin to Dante Moore, a fellow 2023 recruit, picking Oregon and choosing to sit and learn behind Dillion Gabriel for a year.
