Bruce Pearl has landed his third pledge in the Class of 2025 this afternoon. Sebastian Williams-Adams, the No. 40 overall recruit in the senior class, has committed to Auburn on the 247Sports Channel.
“I liked the family environment with the coaching staff and the players,” Williams-Adams said. “They made me feel at home on my visit. I also like the historical development at my position with players like Isaac Okoro and Jabari Smith. They have proven that they can get guys like me to the NBA and that was really important to me.”
A 6-foot-8 power forward out of Houston (Texas) St. John’s, Williams-Adams chose the Tigers out of a final-four list that included Oklahoma State, Purdue, and Vanderbilt. He added that he valued the staff’s persistence in making him a priority.
“Coach Pearl from the jump let me know that he really wanted me at Auburn,” Williams-Adams said. “He really thinks I would thrive in their system. There was not two days that went by where Corey Williams did not make me feel wanted as an Auburn Tiger. Being the first official visit up there in the fall really stuck out to me.”

With his commitment, Williams-Adams joins four-star guards Kaden Magwood and Simon Walker to give the Tigers a top-15 recruiting class in the country.
Pearl and his staff will now shift their full attention towards competing to bring in top-ten recruit Chris Cenac and top-30 recruit Shon Abaev to round out the class.
Once he arrives on campus, Williams-Adams plans to bring a versatile style of play and winning mentality to the Tigers men’s basketball program.
“They are getting a versatile player who does a little bit of everything defensively,” Williams-Adams said. “I am a winner at heart and any time I can prevent us from losing, I will go all out no matter what my role is.”
