Austria’s “Kurier” daily reports that FC Augsburg are in the midst of negotiating a loan deal for Croatian striker Dion Drena Beljo.
After 18 largely disappointing months in Germany’s Fuggerstadt, FC Augsburg are reportedly looking to offload Croatian striker Deion Drena Beljo. The 22-year-old has netted only five Bundesliga goals in 44 top flight deployments. The 2023/24 Bundesliga campaign mostly saw him work off the bench, notching two tallies in 26 Bundesliga appearances. The attacker Augsburg once paid €3 million for remains under contract through 2027.

Beljo will head to Vienna to play in the Austrian Bundesliga for the upcoming season. The Austrian paper reports that the two sides are reportedly working on a purchase option.
