The New York Giants have made headlines recently due to a mystery investor who has had banners flown over MetLife stadium during the team’s games urging owner John Mara to fix the “dumpster fire” that is the 2024 Giants and threatening to keep flying banners over the stadium until he fires everyone.
This has become a trend, as another team is undergoing a similar fate after another pilot was seen flying a message over a different stadium on Sunday calling for one general manager to be fired.
An airplane banner was seen flying over EverBank Stadium on Sunday morning, calling for Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan to fire general manager Trent Baalke.
This might be a first—specific for the GM, not the coach. https://t.co/8JiFK432K5

Khan is considered one of the most hands-off owners in the NFL, and there have been months of rumors that Baalke and head coach Doug Pederson could be fired in the offseason.
With the Jaguars at 3-12, there are a ton of question marks heading into the offseason, all of which could be made by someone other than Baalke if many Jags fans get their wish.
Baalke has been the team’s GM since 2021, but it’s tough to survive consecutively disappointing years like this franchise has endured, as the team has now lost 17 of its last 21 games dating back to last season.
NBC Sports Boston’s Albert Breer joked that this might be the first time a banner has called for a GM to be fired instead of a coach, but surely, Jags fans would be fine with both getting shipped out.
