19-year-old Tom Bischof will join Bayern Munich on a free transfer, when his contract with Hoffenheim expires in the summer.
The Bavarians have confirmed the signing of the central midfielder on a contract until 2029.
“Tom Bischof is one of the biggest German talents, who’s also attracted international interest. At the age of just 19, he’s already gained a lot of experiences in professional football, in the Bundesliga as well as in the DFB Cup and Europa League,” said Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund.
“Tom is an ideal fit for our philosophy as a technically gifted midfielder. We’re pleased he’s decided to take his next steps at FC Bayern. Tom has all the attributes to establish himself at the highest level.”
Bischof has broken into Hoffenheim’s starting line-up this season, scoring twice and assisting three times in 24 appearances.
The likes of RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt were also linked with him.
