Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka scored twice against VfL Wolfsburg, and garnered praise from other players all the way up to club officials.
Board member for sport Max Eberl was no different, as he said after the game: “The way he trains and always performs when he’s on the pitch is exemplary. Today he rewarded himself with two goals. Leon is an important player for us and his flexibility gives us the opportunity to act and react on the pitch.” (via @iMiaSanMia)
Well, Goretzka definitely deserves the praise — hopefully, he can continue providing quality contributions to the team.
