Despite the recent report of Alphonso Davies suddenly open to extending his Bayern Munich contract, the club is still shortlisting players in the likely event that the Canadian signs for another club (read: Real Madrid). One of those targets is David Raum:
Leipzig left-back David Raum (26) is one of the names being considered by Bayern to replace Alphonso Davies, should the latter leave the club next summer. The German international can well imagine a move to Munich. Max Eberl has a good relationship with Raum from their time together in Leipzig. It remains to be seen whether the implementation of the transfer would be possible due to the tense relationship between Oliver Mintzlaff and Max Eberl. Raum is not the only name, but one of the candidates for the position.

Not too long ago, Raum was asked during a live stream on whether he would consider a Bayern move or not. This might end up coming to fruition.
