Bayern Munich loanee Frans Krätzig did not have the easiest time on loan with VfB Stuttgart and now the 21-year-old is headed back home to Bayern Munich — at least temporarily.
As it turns out, Krätzig could become the Abe Simpson GIF and could be headed right back out the door this month as there does not appear to be any space for him on the Bayern Munich roster at this point:
For his part, Krätzig had nothing bad to say about his experience at VfB Stuttgart.
“I felt very comfortable at VfB from day one. I would like to thank my teammates, the coaching staff and all other employees for the time we spent together. Now the time has come for me to take a new path and a new challenge. I wish VfB and its great fans all the best for the future,” said Krätzig.
Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg does not think there will be a lack of suitors for Krätzig:
Now official what we have revealed in our show Transfer Update: VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern have agreed to terminate Frans #Krätzig’s loan early.
Now a new club is being sought. Possible options: Bundesliga or top clubs from the 2. Bundesliga. There are also inquiries from abroad.
