The first half of Bayern Munich’s 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen was a little bit squirrely for the home team, but Aleksandar Pavlović thinks the team did a good job of learning from the travails of the first 45 minutes.
“In the first half, it wasn’t easy to get through their block. In the second half, we approached things with more momentum. It was a deserved win and we are very happy about it. The upcoming games are very important for us, we are really looking forward to it,” said Pavlović (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Pavlović and his midfield compatriot Joshua Kimmich played a key role in dictating the tempo of the game and helping Bayern Munich have a dominant showing in terms of possession. Now, the key will be for Bayern Munich to avoid a first half lull against Celtic and put together an strong effort that covers a full 90 minutes.
