Bayern Munich have officially had their location for their base camp this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup revealed. Until now, Bayern Munich had had their games announced and their locations, but not yet their base camp. Just this week, Christian Falk from Sport Bild reported that Bayern will be staying in Orlando, Florida.
It has not been officially confirmed where that base camp will be, however, it is certain to be a great spot in beautiful Orlando, Florida. Hopefully FC Hollywood can keep themselves contained with no strolls a couple of hours south to Miami (never forget #MiamiNights) during the tournament.
There has been plenty of controversy about the tournament, and the increased calendar resulting in virtually no of-season for players. At least a nice location like this will make it a bit more hospitable for the players.
This kind of environment might be a bit too comfortable, as we have yet to see just how intense the competition will be and how clubs will prepare for this tournament.
