Kickoff! — It’s whistles out and away we go!
Bayern Munich’s starting lineup is in and there is not much of a shake up from Vincent Kompany:
Holstein Kiel submitted its lineup as well:
Bayern Munich found out that they will face Celtic in the Champions League, but must first navigate through basement boys Holstein Kiel. The northerners drew to some top half teams and famously beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2, the same Dortmund side who finished above Bayern in Europe. Funny how that works.
Anyway, the middle of February will be a busy time for the Rekordmeister so getting all points here is just as important. Bayern sit first with a 15-3-1 record (48 points) while Kiel are second last with 12 points (3-3-13). Can the Bavarians pick up maximum points today?
It’s Bayern time.
