Bayern Munich whacked Hoffenheim 5-0 last time out, but Bayer Leverkusen is within striking distance of the Rekordmeister. It is imperative that the Bavarians pick up all three points against Wolfsburg. The Wolves are currently in the running for the European spots, only a single point behind Mainz, so they’ll have more incentive to get a result at the Allianz Arena. Bayern has the tools to claim a win over Wolfsburg, but you can’t rule anything out in football.
Additionally, the Bayern boys will travel to Rotterdam in midweek for the penultimate Champions League matchday; Bayern sit in a playoffs spot just shy of the automatic qualification zones.
Bayern sit in first place with a 13-3-1 record (42 points) while Wolfsburg sit in seventh with a record of 8-3-6 (27 points). Can Bayern keep distance from any title challenger?
It’s Bayern time.
