The goalkeeper position is one that Bayern Munich wants to tie down as that player will eventually replace Manuel Neuer. The Bavarians found Jonas Urbig from FC Köln and want him bad, so much that the club wants him at the expense of Daniel Peretz who doesn’t want to leave:
Bayern want to sign Jonas Urbig this month regardless of whether Daniel Peretz leaves on loan or stays. The club is willing to accept Lens’ loan offer for Peretz, but the latter prefers to stay, which has surprised Bayern as they want him to have regular game time.

This may reek of another Alexander Nübel situation where one of Bayern’s goalkeepers is sent out on loan, but there’s something different here. Peretz wants to play for Bayern, but with Neuer and Sven Ulreich not getting any younger and Nübel whose relationship with the fans is about as warm as a block of ice, then a loan makes sense for him. Urbig is 21 and Peretz is 24, both younger than Neuer when he joined Bayern at 25. Either goalkeeper will have plenty of opportunities to represent Bayern in matches.
