How was your Christmas? Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala enjoyed one with a very American flavor.
The former Chelsea academy talent who blossomed as a youngster in Germany spent his winter holiday in the United States…and even linked up with teammate Michael Olise in the process.
Musiala shared details of how it all came together in comments captured by the FC Bayern website (via @iMiaSanMia).
“I’d never been to New York or Miami. For me it was about spending time with my family, switching off for once, but also seeing some different things,” Musiala explained. “I wanted to come back with fresh energy. The idea of having a few days in the USA came from my family and me. Michael said he was also coming over, so we ate together and spent a day looking around New York.”
