This was a big week for golf releases. We saw new balls, drivers, fairways, putters and a rangefinder. If you missed anything or are just here for a quick recap, we have you covered. Here are the best golf releases of the week.
Titleist GT1 driver
Historically, Titleist’s “1” driver has been the lightweight option. The new GT1 driver continues that tradition while introducing added versatility to expand the pool of players it fits. The GT1 driver features lighter components including the stock head, shaft and grip, resulting in an overall weight of approximately 50 grams less than a standard men’s build.
With the longest front-to-back profile in the GT lineup, the GT1’s modern shape boosts confidence for players who need it. The GT1 is geared towards slower swingers, players who need higher spin and launch and it can even be configured for those looking for a draw bias.
Specs and pricing
- Available in nine, 10 and 12 degrees of loft. Stock shafts include Fujikura Air Speeder Next Gen (40g, 35g options), Project X Denali Red (50g), and Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue (55g).

Titleist GT1 fairway woods
The Titleist GT1 fairway woods build on the same lightweight philosophy as the driver. The goal here is speed and forgiveness. The GT1 fairway features a shallow face profile and a slightly longer heel-to-toe footprint. Golfers should notice better turf interaction which makes it easy to hit off the ground.
