Kaine Tomlinson Jr. silenced a raucous crowd in Philadelphia after he laid out local fighter Pat Sullivan with an absolutely devastating one-punch knockout at BKFC KnuckleMania 5 on Saturday.
The terrifying finish came at just 37 seconds into the opening round after Tomlinson uncorked a hellacious overhand right that blasted Sullivan on the chin and sent him crashing to the canvas in a heap. Sullivan’s head bounced off the bottom rope on the ring and the referee immediately waved off the fight as medical personnel rushed in to check on him.
While it was an outstanding finish for Tomlinson, he refused to celebrate as his opponent laid motionless on the canvas for several minutes.
Eventually, Sullivan was able to sit up and get to a stool as he asked his coaches what just happened. He was then helped out of the ring to receive addition medical attention backstage.
As for Tomlinson, he earned arguably one of the most impressive knockouts in recent history as replays showed the single punch that ended Sullivan’s night. The thudding sound of bone on flesh only further amplified just how hard Tomlinson hit Sullivan for the knockout.
The win moves Tomlinson to 2-1 in his BKFC career, but it’s going to be awfully hard for him to top this knockout at BKFC KnuckleMania 5.
