The New York Giants have a unique offseason ahead.
They have to evaluate everything from the front office to the head coach to the quarterback situation.
If they decide they want to keep their current pairing of general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll, they then have to figure out what to do at quarterback.
After parting with Daniel Jones during the season, the team has to decide what the future of that position is.
Former NFL quarterback and current analyst Boomer Esiason said he believes the Giants should find an inexpensive bridge QB.
“Go out and find a Carson Wentz or a Kirk Cousins. Go out and get somebody who is cheap and can be a stopgap and worry about it next year,” Esiason said, via WFAN Sports Radio.
Boomer says the Giants should go for a “cheap stopgap” like Carson Wentz or Kirk Cousins instead of forcing the issue in the draft:

The Giants have struggled to find consistency at quarterback ever since Eli Manning decided to hang up his cleats.
It looks like the cycle is going to continue seeing as the team does not have a clear option on the current roster.
Even though Drew Lock and Tommy DeVito have had their moments, they have not shown enough consistency.
With the Giants set to pick in the top 10 of the 2025 NFL Draft, quarterback could be an option.
However, Esiason’s idea of bringing in a veteran makes a lot of sense, and perhaps the Giants will do both.
