Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly joined the race to sign Mainz wonderkid Brajan Gruda.
Mainz youngster Brajan Gruda has been linked with a move away from the club following his breakthrough 2023/24 campaign.
Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen have been touted as suitors for the 20-year-old, and now Fabrizio Romano reports that Brighton & Hove Albion are also interested.
The Italian transfer market insider goes as far as to describe Gruda as a “dream target” for the English Premier League outfit.
Mainz, however, are hoping to hold on to their prized asset, with reports suggesting that an offer of at least €50 million would be required for the club to consider a sale.
A product of Mainz’s youth academy, Gruda has made 31 first-team appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
