Britain Hart’s next title defense will be against viral sensation Tai Emery.
The reigning BKFC strawweight champion fights Emery in the co-main event of Day 1 of BKFC Dubai, which takes place April 4 at Dubai Tennis Stadium. This marks Hart’s fourth consecutive defense of the 115-pound title, while Emery challenges for her first championship.
Hart has been a star for BKFC, defeating Charisa Sigala in 2022 to become strawweight champion and successfully defending her title against Taylor Starling, Melanie Shah, and Jenny Savage. She has won five straight fights in the BKFC ring and also counts Paige VanZant and Bec Rawlings among her notable victories.
Emery has competed just twice for BKFC, but gained major notoriety when she followed up a win over Rung-Arun Khunchai at a BKFC: Thailand event by flashing the audience in celebration. Though she fell short against Chisakan Ariphipat in her next fight, she made headlines again when she broke Sigala’s nose in a bare-knuckle contest at a July 2024 RIZIN event in Saitama, Japan.
BKFC Dubai takes place across April 4 and April 5, with Day 1 being headlined by a bout between welterweight champion Austin Trout and Carlos Trinidad, and Day 2 headlined by a bout between featherweight champion Kai Stewart and Tommy Strydom.
