Oliver Baumann, Hoffenheim
Conceded twice against Mainz, but things couldn’t have gone much worse for Hoffenheim had it not been for Baumann, who made a total of six saves.
Defenders
Jonathan Tah, Bayer Leverkusen
Rock solid at the back for Leverkusen, winning all of his five duels and completing 98 percent of his passes.
Konstantinos Koulierakis, Wolfsburg
Provided an assist and won three of five contests for the ball in Wolfsburg’s crushing 5-1 win over RB Leipzig.
Denis Vavro, Wolfsburg
Playing alongside Koulierakis, Vavro won all his duels and completed 94 percent of his passes.
Midfielders
Nadiem Amiri, Mainz
Influential as ever for Mainz, winning 10 of 14 ground duels and making two key passes.
Ritsu Doan, Freiburg
Scored a goal, made two key passes and won eight of nine ground duels in Freiburg’s win over Gladbach.
Jamal Musiala, Bayern
Stepped up when Bayern needed him most, scoring the equaliser against Borussia Dortmund. Made four key passes and completed six dribbles.
Lucas Höler, Freiburg
Had a hand in all three Freiburg goals, scoring a brace and providing an assist.
Nathaniel Brown, Eintracht Frankfurt
Unstoppable in left midfield, he provided two assists in Frankfurt’s 4-0 win over Heidenheim.
Strikers
Omar Marmoush, Eintracht Frankfurt
Bagged a brace to take his Bundesliga goal tally for the season to 13.
Mohamed Amoura, Wolfsburg
Was on fire against Leipzig, scoring a brace in the opening 16 minutes of Wolfsburg’s 5-1 win.
