Torino are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei, talkSPORT understands.
The Blues are willing to offload the Italian, who signed in a £16million deal from Inter Milan in 2022, to help trim their squad.
Casadei has only made 11 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, all of which have come off the bench as a substitute.
He has played on loan at Reading and Leicester City during his time at Stamford Bridge but could be set for an exit in January.
A move to Torino would see Casadei return to Italy in Serie A, though he didn’t feature in the league during his stint at Inter.
The 21-year-old would join former Premier League striker Che Adams at the club after his summer move from Southampton.
Chelsea are also understood to be open to selling former Aston Villa starlet Carney Chukwuemeka if his £40m release clause is met.
The midfielder swapped Birmingham for London in 2022 and has featured 32 times for the club, scoring two goals.
Chukwuemeka missed a large chunk of last season with a knee injury he sustained in their 3-1 defeat to West Ham after scoring.
He has played just five matches for Chelsea this season and not been named in any of their Premier League squads.
talkSPORT reported in August that Barcelona are long-term admirers of Chukwuemeka alongside Premier League and European sides.
Chelsea have a huge amount of competition for places in midfield this season under Enzo Maresca.
Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have been consistent starters for the Blues, with Romeo Lavia also earning his minutes.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was a summer acquisition from Leicester, with fellow new arrival Renato Veiga also able to play as a midfielder.
Casadei and Chukwuemeka may not be the only outgoings in January as Ben Chilwell potentially faces the end of his Chelsea spell.
The left-back, who won the Champions League with the club in 2021, was told in the summer that he is not part of Maresca’s plans.
Chelsea could look to strengthen in the January transfer window as they prepare for a packed second half of the season.
Maresca’s side are fourth in the Premier League following their 2-0 defeat to Ipswich Town on Monday night.
