The Kansas City Chiefs are about to begin a postseason that they hope will end with them making history when they host the Houston Texans in the AFC divisional round.
While the Chiefs are healthier now than they were several weeks ago when they were without a few key contributors, they’re still not at 100 percent.
Now, they have made three roster moves heading into their playoff opener.
“Chiefs have officially designated CB Jaylen Watson to return from injured reserve. He’s on the 53 active player roster for Saturday. Chiefs also used practice squad elevations on LB Swayze Bozeman [and] S Deon Bush for Saturday’s game against the Texans,” Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest wrote on X.

Watson, who is in his third season in the NFL, has been out since suffering a leg injury in a Week 7 victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
He had six passes defended and 32 total tackles (21 solo) on the season, and as a rookie in 2022, he had the longest pick-six in the league by going 99 yards for a touchdown.
The Chiefs have certainly evolved over the past couple of years, as they’re no longer the dynamic, high-flying team they were earlier in their dynasty, and are now a team that wins with defense and simple play on offense.
During the regular season, they were fourth in points allowed, and in each of their past five wins, they held their opponent to fewer than 20 points.
A win against the Texans will bring them within two wins of claiming their third straight Super Bowl championship, something no team has ever done, and that accomplishment would put them in a very rare strata among the greatest sports teams of all time.
