Marlon Vera is more than just a fighter. He’s a model, too.
This past weekend, “Chito” served as a model for American fashion designer Willy Chavarria in his “Tarantula” show at Paris Men’s Fashion Week. Chavarria’s line is a collaboration with Adidas and was held at The American Cathedral in Paris, with Vera walking the runway shirtless, in a black jacket and shorts with red Adidas stripes.
Vera was one of many guest models, including Indiya Moore, Becky G, Tokischa, and more.
Hailing from Los Angeles, Chavarria is a burgeoning name in the fashion industry. This was Chavarria’s Paris Fashion Week debut, and is only just the start for him as he was recently chosen by rapper Kendrick Lamar to create a ready-to-wear collaboration for Lamar’s upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
A one-time UFC bantamweight title challenger, Vera most recently competed this past August at UFC Abu Dhabi where he lost a unanimous decision to Deiveson Figueiredo.
