The Philadelphia Eagles are just a win away from making an appearance in Super Bowl LIX after surviving their NFC Divisional Game against the Los Angeles Rams.
The Eagles escaped with a 28-22 win, though the Rams had a chance to win the game on their final offensive drive before they failed to convert on fourth down.
Now, Philadelphia will play host to the Washington Commanders in a surprising NFC East matchup that not many people saw coming.
The Commanders have been a lightning rod this season due to their offense and Jayden Daniels’s brilliance, so the Eagles’ defense will need to be at its best to pull off a win.
Jalen Carter was instrumental in the win against Los Angeles and will once again be counted on to wreak havoc in the backfield when they take on Washington.
In fact, Chris Long believes Carter could be in line for another big performance against the Commanders because of their offensive line situation via Green Light with Chris Long.

Washington may have been able to upset the Detroit Lions, but their protection up front figures to be much more vulnerable after losing starting right guard Sam Cosmi to a knee injury.
Carter showed off how explosive and disruptive he can be in one-on-one situations, so the rest of the Eagles’ defensive line should have their opportunities to get after Daniels.
If Carter can dominate the line of scrimmage, then Philadelphia will be in a great position to advance.
