The Kansas City Chiefs have been the team to beat in the NFL for years now.
As such, everybody’s aiming for their crown, and fans have been enraged to watch so many favorable calls go their way.
That’s why Chris “Mad Dog” Russo claims he is sick of them.
“I am so sick of Kansas City. If I see Caitlin Clark or Taylor Swift one more time in that freakin’ suite, I’m gonna go throw up. … And then Mahomes is mocking the officials by trying to get a third call by dancing out of bounds. … That was a disgrace on Saturday afternoon. … The NFL should be embarrassed with the amount of calls that Kansas City gets year after year after year,” Russo said, via “Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz.”

Truth be told, it’s hard to disagree with the tape.
The referees do seem to give the Chiefs all the calls, even some questionable ones.
Mahomes deserves a lot of credit for his ability to bend the rules in his favor.
It’s not the first time there’s been this kind of discussion.
For two decades, fans said the same about Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
Superstar treatment has always been a thing, unfortunately.
However, some of the calls have been so apparently egregious that the league will have to do something at one point. It’s a matter of credibility.
Hopefully, this won’t ruin the upcoming AFC Championship between the Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
Two elite quarterbacks will face off, and the league won’t want the referees to be the talk of the game.
