The Los Angeles Chargers found a way to come back and defeat the Denver Broncos on “Thursday Night Football.”
That’s because Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert showed up when it mattered most.
He threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns while posting a passer rating over 110.0 (110.1) for the fourth time this season.
FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd was very impressed with what Herbert did against a division rival in prime time.
“I thought last night in that second half, you were just watching an all-time talent. … If you watched that second half and didn’t get it, I don’t know how to help you,” Cowherd said on “The Herd.”

In the second half against Denver, Herbert completed 11 of 16 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns.
Through 15 games this season, the 26-year-old has 20 total touchdowns and has thrown just three interceptions.
He has the Chargers in firm playoff positioning currently as the No. 6 seed in the AFC.
Assuming that the team makes the playoffs, they won’t be a team that anyone wants to face, even if they are a dome team coming on the road.
With the way that Herbert is playing right now, combined with the rushing attack and stout defense, Los Angeles looks like it could be a tough out for a team like the Pittsburgh Steelers or Buffalo Bills.
At the very least, having a top-tier talent like Herbert gives the Chargers a chance to win on any given day.
