Only six days remain in the college basketball transfer window, but the action will continue this spring as the more than 1,700 players in the portal search for a new destination. Thirty-four of the top 100 transfer prospects of the 2024 cycle are still available, but highly-coveted names are flowing off the board as recruiting visits ramp up in April.
Another busy week of transfer commitments resulted in numerous top 100 portal prospects making their next move, including another addition for Indiana, which maintains the No. 1 spot in the transfer portal team rankings.
Once again a jam-packed weekend of transfer recruiting visits could lead to more commitment decisions from some of the best available prospects left on the board, likely causing more movement in the team rankings. The spring portal window remains open until May 1, but that is not a deadline for transfers to make a decision on their next destination.
