The race for the No. 1 recruiting class in college football’s 2025 cycle is on, and with the summer visit season complete, commitments continue to fly in at a blistering pace throughout the July 4 holiday weekend. Oregon, Miami and Florida State all picked up some of the biggest additions to their respective hauls this week as they accounted for the biggest fireworks on the recruiting trail.
Although there are still five months until the early signing period, some of the most important work in any cycle comes during the summer months as coaches spend the dog days of the offseason working towards the future. Preseason camp is on the horizon, but over the next few weeks, the true contenders for the 2025 recruiting title will continue to separate themselves from the pack.
