7. Collin Klein, Texas A&M
Previous position: Kansas State, offensive coordinator
Collin Klein left his alma mater to become the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas A&M where he joins the rest of the first-year staff under Mike Elko. Klein spent seven seasons as an assistant coach for the Wildcats, including the past two as offensive coordinator. Kansas State ranked second in the Big 12 and 10th nationally for scoring offense during the 2023 season. Texas A&M made improvements offensively last campaign, but a fresh start with Klein taking control should lead to positive results. A former Heisman Trophy finalist, Klein will work closely with quarterback Conner Weigman, who rated as a five-star recruit coming out of high school.
